The underwater world has now become accessible to everyone! You literally take a walk on the bottom of the ocean and you experience for the first time in your life how beautiful the underwater world actually is. These beautiful fauna, corals and wide variety of fish can all be seen in their own natural habitat. It actually feels like you're walking around in an aquarium. There is no need to remove your glasses or contact lenses, as your head will remain completely dry. And to make sure everyone is safe and comfortable, an experienced diver will accompany you during the walk.
Helmet diving Curaçao is located on the idyllic small beach of Marie Pampoen, directly next to Mambo Beach and about 10 minutes by car from Willemstad. A really authentic small beach where the fishermen still sail out with their boats and local children receive swimming lessons in the weekends. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.
Geweldige ervaring, de gidsen zorgen ervoor dat je je veilig voelt, en de tour zelf is net zo anders en niet van deze wereld. Wie zou denken dat je comfortabel onder water kunt lopen en je haar en gezicht droog blijven. Zoveel vissen om te zien! Ga dit zeker nog een keer doen!
Vooraf voelde ik een combinatie van zenuwen en opwinding. De laatste bleef de hele tijd bij me hangen. De zeer duidelijke en geruststellende instructies deden me mijn spanning volledig vergeten. De ervaring zelf was een once in a lifetime – een half uur. Moeilijk om onder woorden te brengen wat we zagen en ook voelden. Van een diversiteit aan vissen tot koraal en ook het gevoel van het water om ons heen was geweldig.
De jongens hielden ons de hele tijd in de gaten door te observeren en communicatieborden, leerden we tijdens de korte briefing vooraf.
Ik ben het niet eens met andere aanbevelingen over het vernietigen van het koraal, ze waren erg alert om op het pad te blijven en ook door borden die ons vertelden om er vanaf te blijven.
We konden zien dat de jongens erg gepassioneerd waren over hun werk en er zelf ook plezier in leken te hebben.
Over de zeebodem kunnen lopen terwijl je gewoon ademt, geweldig toch ? Unieke ervaring die je zeker niet mag missen. Dit is geweldig leuk. Dank je wel voor de goede begeleiding, foto’s en het lokken van de visjes tot voor onze neus. Dit willen we nog wel eens meemaken! Gelukkig dat de last-minute booking zo vlot ging.
Hoe gaaf is dat, ervaren wat de duikers zien zonder te duiken. Je hoeft zelfs niet te kunnen zwemmen en je haar blijft in de Krul. Er wordt duidelijk verteld wat er gaat gebeuren en hoe het systeem werkt. Gewoon vanaf het strand het water inlopen, de helmen staan al klaar. Je wordt heel goed begeleid tijdens de trek. Je ziet vele soorten visjes en ter herinnering wordt er zelfs een video gemaakt, mooi gemonteerd.
