The Hofi Mango Tour is ideal to combine with a visit to one of the great beaches on Bandabou. After the tour you can for example enjoy Playa Lagun or Kleine Knip, Grote Knip or go turtle spotting at Playa Grandi. You will find these beaches at max. 10 minutes by car from Hofi Mango.
The beautiful historic Hofi Mango was set up as a plantation in 1707. In addition to mangoes, other crops were also grown, such as sugar cane. The traditional rum of Curaçao was distilled from this sugar cane, with the name “Geldduivel” (Money Devil). The sugar cane was pressed in a specially built sugar mill; a windmill after the Dutch model. This historic sugar mill is the only one in the Caribbean and is the eye-catcher of Hofi Mango.
The thousand centuries-old mango trees form the green heart of the park. Nowhere on Curaçao will you find a historic forest with such old trees. In the rainy season, beautiful streams flow through the mango forest.
Via a beautifully landscaped walking route you wander through the shady forest, through our palm garden and several flower gardens. The garden offers a home to the different types of birds, dragonflies, butterflies, lizards and bees.
The 24-hectare park is best viewed from the hill in the middle of the park. Here is the work of art "The hands of God" and you have a beautiful view of the Christoffel mountain.

Jandino Asporaat
Jandino Asporaat was born on Curacao and is known in the Netherlands as a stand-up comedian, actor, television presenter, singer, producer and impersonator. Together with his brother Kenneth, he purchased Hofi Mango in 2022, with which they want to work together for the island. An agricultural training and landscaping training have been started at Hofi Mango so that young people on the island can learn at the park. In addition, the park will be further expanded with activities in the future and the park should become a real wellness destination. Hòfi Mango is a place of nature and history and can thus contribute to the economic development of the island. Beautiful park. Not quite ready after the destruction earlier this year. Enjoyed the silence and the view from above. The plants are breathtaking. The staff is very friendly. The home-made juices were delicious. Keep up the good work!
