The right of withdrawal

The legal reflection period and the right of withdrawal are expressly excluded according to article 10.6 in our terms and conditions. The right of withdrawal is excluded for, among other things, contracts relating to leisure activities, if the contract provides for a certain date or period of execution, including the tickets and vouchers offered via the Caribbean Tours platform. With this, articles 6 through 9 in the General Terms and Conditions do not apply.

Caribbean Tours only acts as a mediator

When you buy tickets/vouchers via caribbean-tours.nl you acknowledge that Caribbean Tours only acts as an intermediary in the conclusion of the agreement with the tour operator. If you order tickets/vouchers and the concerning tour operator accepts the order, a direct (purchase) agreement is established between you and the concerning tour operator. Caribbean Tours never becomes a party to the (purchase) agreement between you and the tour operator. Caribbean Tours issues the tickets/vouchers on behalf of tour operators and collects (part) payments related to the purchase of tickets/vouchers on behalf of tour operators. For each tour or activity on caribbean-tours.nl you will find the name of the performing tour operator, the party with whom you enter into the (purchase) agreement. In general, you can view the general conditions of the operating tour operator on the website of the operating tour operator or request them from Caribbean Tours.

Complaints/Disputes

Procedure for complaints

If you are not satisfied with the products offered or with the service provided by Caribbean Tours you can file a complaint with us by means of the form below.

Submitted complaints will be answered as soon as possible but at the latest within a period of 14 days, counting from the date of receipt. If a complaint demands a foreseeable longer time of processing, we will answer within the period of 14 days with a notice of receipt and an indication of when you can expect a more detailed answer.

Caribbean Tours is only involved as a mediator in complaints about the products offered. If it concerns a complaint about a product (a tour or activity you did) we will pass on your complaint to the tour operator in question and if necessary, we will bring you into direct contact with this tour operator. Although we as an intermediary will do our utmost to resolve the complaint satisfactorily together, the tour operator makes the final decision on how to deal with your complaint.

Are you not satisfied with the handling of your complaint? Then you can submit it to the Geschillencommissie Thuiswinkel, Postbus 90600, 2509 LP in The Hague (www.sgc.nl). You can also submit your complaint to the Geschillencommissie via the European ODR Platform.
