The Juliana Bridge that connects Punda and Otrobanda is at its highest point no less than 56 meters high. This is because the sea ships have to be able to pass underneath it. It is the highest bridge in the Caribbean so the ideal object to rapel from.
When rappelling from the Juliana Bridge Curacao you enter the bridge through a hatch and walk through the bridge to the round hatch from which you will abseil. The bridge you walk through is a steel tunnel under the Caribbean sun so prepare yourself for a warm walk. Once you arrive at the hatch you crawl outside and let yourself fall from the railing at a height of 45 meters and then you skillfully descend. During the descent you have an incredibly beautiful view of the center of Willemstad.
During the entire experience you will be guided by Albert Schoop, a very experienced instructor with a lot of experience in the field of climbing and abseiling. Albert will provide you with clear and extensive (safety) instructions. During the descent you will be extra secured.
