1000 steps
Thousand Steps is one of the best known snorkel sites in Bonaire. You will park the car at the top of a cliff. Than you have to descend the stairs with your snorkel gear to reach the beautiful clear turquoise water. Once down, you jump off a small height and then you are on the beach. The reef here is only 6 meters deep. It offers great views of the coral and fish. With the white sand and beautiful coral reefs, this is the best spot with the highest change of snorkeling with turtles.
Spice Beach
Spice Beach is located at the Eden Beach Resort where you will find the excellent beach club Spice Beach Club. After snorkeling you can chill out and linger here for a while. In the water at Spice Beach many beautiful large and small colored fish are there to admire. From the beach you have a great view of Klein Bonaire.
Te Amo Beach
This public white sand beach is located opposite the airport on the west coast of Bonaire. There is a small reef off the coast where you can snorkel. The chance of encountering a turtle while snorkeling is likely.
