This Kayak Snorkel Tour is a wonderful activity that combines Kayaking and Snorkeling. Paddle through Simpson Bay, via Pelican Rocks to a small beach where you moor the kayak on the beach. Here you can snorkel for about an hour in search of the most beautiful fish before paddling back to the starting point. At Simpson Bay.
You start the Kayak Snorkel Tour with a short lesson about safety and paddling technique. As a group you paddle through Simpson Bay, passing the boats moored in the bay. Weather permitting, paddle the ocean into and around Pelican Rocks to reach the next bay. The pace is leisurely, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful views of the neighboring islands and the birds resting on the rocks. Once you reach your destination, dock the kayak on the beach and get ready to snorkel in clear blue water.
After donning your snorkeling gear, swim out to explore the rocky caves and corals, where you'll see parrotfish, angelfish, trumpetfish, and a variety of other tropical fish. Your guides snorkel with you to make your experience as special as possible.
After 45 minutes of fun in the water, you will return to your kayak for the return trip to Kim Sha Beach. Share your enthusiastic stories about the Kayak Snorkel Tour, while enjoying an ice-cold refreshment in the Greenhouse Restaurant.
Just had a great morning kayaking and snorkeling with 3 great guys who took 23 of us on a Caribbean boot camp! Seriously, it was a rough ride as the sea was rough and windy. But managed to do all the kayaking and swimming and was proud to have done it. It was great and the beer at the end perfectly recommended this small company if you want a great tour experience.
This turned out to be a wonderful experience for our family of five. It was just the right amount of kayaking and snorkeling to have a good time. Our instructor, Chris, was very personable, knowledgeable and patient. He made it all worth it. Liked the drinks afterwards. Would highly recommend for families or novice kayakers/snorkelers who want to have a good time without spending a small fortune.
It was my first time kayaking in the Ocran and my first time ever snorkeling. From the moment we stepped off our cruise ship, the staff was friendly. They clearly explained the timeline for the day and were extremely helpful in making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. They were attentive all day, providing us with water for the trip and a drink at the bar when we returned.
The excursion was well organized and peaceful with our smart, friendly leaders! My daughter Meredith had a broken leg (no cast) and the boys were very attentive to her, helping her in and out of the kayak and offering to carry her stuff and lend an arm. So appreciated!! Everyone happy!
We really had a good time. We came with a group from an all ages cruise. They took the time to explain everything and did so in a very nice way. First we kayaked to the beach, then we went snorkeling and then we all got a free drink from the bar. It was a really fun time with that teo and I would definitely do it again.
