What you can expect:
You can check in at Dock Maarten between 9:30 AM and 9:45 AM, where you can enjoy a drink in the Chesterfield bar. After a short safety and security briefing, the Luxury Catamaran Snorkel Cruise will start along the beautiful southern coastline of Sint Maarten. Make yourself comfortable on board and find your own private spot. Choose the sundeck lounge and take in breathtaking sights, or enjoy the indoor and outdoor lounge where you'll be surrounded by fantastic 360-degree views. The forward trampoline area is also available and is ideal for lounging and enjoying the sun.
The first stop is at Maho Beach, located across the runway from Princess Juliana International Airport, where you can watch planes take off and land. A unique and exciting sight; the planes seem to appear out of nowhere as they approach the runway, and you can almost 'touch' them as they prepare to land. An absolutely amazing view to enjoy while you have a cold drink or a chat at the indoor bar. Enjoy a drink (cocktails, beer and non-alcoholic drinks) and be pampered by our hostesses.
After viewing the planes, you will depart for the next stop, Mullet Bay. Jump in the water for a swim, float along on a noodle, prepare for a snorkeling excursion, or take a ride on one of the kayaks or stand-up paddleboards. Enjoy drinks (cocktails, beer and non-alcoholic drinks) and food on the large aft deck or flybridge, or simply relax and enjoy the view on the sundeck lounge.
The last stop of the Luxury Catamaran Snorkel Cruise is Little Bay. This small beautiful bay is well protected by the foothills of Fort Amsterdam, right on the edge of Philipsburg. This is the perfect place to explore the tropical underwater world. For the snorkeling enthusiasts, Little Bay offers one of the rare beach snorkeling locations as the waters here are generally calm due to its 'cove-like' nature and also the installation of solid rocky beach breaks. This makes it an ideal place for children and beginners, where all water equipment can be used.
Great catamaran cruise with a family group of 28. Captain and his crew were friendly, professional and excellent hosts to our family group. We had lots of little and big kids and we all had a blast! Food was excellent and the snorkeling spot was great for everyone. Highly recommend!
Captain was very friendly and had a great time with the 16 of us. Hostess is a wonderful hostess, bartender, cook and first mate. We have been on several catamaran/snorkeling tours and this was by far the best
The day trip on the Phoenix was great from the start. The captain greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. We boarded the boat and were welcomed with fresh fruit, pastries, water and cocktails. The ship's crew was very attentive and accommodating, not to mention the delicious prepared lunch. This day trip was our group's favorite day of our cruise and I would recommend this trip to anyone traveling to St. Maarten!
This was an amazing experience on a beautiful boat – the captain and crew provided wonderful hospitality, from unlimited drinks to snacks and lunch! We enjoyed the view and the opportunity to snorkel while sailing. A great day!
