Here you will find beds, changing cabins, enough shade for everyone, a toilet and even freshwater showers. You can enjoy excellent catering including breakfast buffet, BBQ lunch and unlimited non-alcoholic drinks. In the afternoon you can also order alcoholic drinks (beer, wine, rum, vodka) at the bar for a good price. Mermaid Boattrips has been sailing to this uninhabited island for over more than 35 years. At 06:45 you must be present at the Vissershaven. After checking in you will be welcomed on the boat with a cup of coffee or tea. The large motor ship takes 1.5 hours to sail to Klein Curacao. Upon arrival at Klein Curacao you can swim to the beach, or get into the motorboat (Dingie) that will drop you off at the beach. Upon arrival at the beach you can enjoy a delicious breakfast first, after which you can explore the island with the Walking Tour of Mermaid Boat Trips.
In the afternoon a delicious and extensive BBQ lunch is waiting for you. Take a seat in the beach house at one of the spacious picnic tables for the buffet including chicken (Halal), spare ribs and burgers, salads and fruit. There are adequate vegetarian options. If you want gluten-free, please let us know when booking so that we can take this into account.
Approx. 3:30 PM the boat will leave for Curacao where you will moor again around 5:00 PM at the jetty in the Vissershaven.
Are you a diver?
Divers are allowed to come along. You can bring your own (or previously rented) diving gear for free. Please report when booking in the comment field if you are going to dive. You must of course be certified and bring your own dive buddy. Please note: a signaling buoy or diving buoy is mandatory!
Wat hebben wij 29 mei een heerlijke dag gehad op klein Curaçao. De boottocht was relaxed en goed verzorgd. Koffie, thee en water op de heenweg op de boot en toen we op klein Curaçao aankwamen heerlijk belegde broodjes als ontbijt. Alleen Mermaid heeft een eigen beach club op klein Curaçao met lig bedden, toiletten, kleedhokjes, snorkel spullen en een douche. De hele dag kom je drinken pakken en tegen betaling ook alcoholische drank. De bbq was echt fantastisch. De bemanning had alles heerlijk bereid, echt complimenten. De uitkijktoren gaf ook een prachtig uitzicht over het eiland. Het strand was geweldig, spierwit en het water zo helder echt een paradijs. Het was een fantastische goed verzorgde dag. Complimenten voor Mermaid en zijn bemanning.
April 19, 2023. Paradise found, only 1.5 hours away. What a fabulous day we had on the Mermaid Boat Trip! A full day, an easy boat ride with a great location on the Klein Curacao beach. We enjoyed the walking tour with the old lighthouse, the shipwrecks, snorkeling, palapas, breakfast coffee and sandwich, with a wonderful lunch buffet and great crew. Everything was just perfect! A must do when visiting in Curacao.
Prachtige dag op een sprookjesachtige locatie. De heenreis was vanwege de golven best uitdagend, de terugreis ging prima.
Fijn dat de gehele dag wordt verzorgd. Vanaf het ophalen bij het hotel, het eten en drinken en het thuisbrengen, alles is prima geregeld. Hierdoor hoef je alleen aandacht te geven aan het strand en de zee. Ik heb veel tropische vissen gezien. Aanrader!
